Lemosho (Shira) Route 8 Day climb + Crater Camp (camping)

The most westerly of the routes on Kilimanjaro, this route allows you to see the whole of the Shira Plateau and before you get on to the plateau you walk around the Shira ridge. After the plateau you join the normal Machame route, ascending from Barafu camp to Stella Point. You will descend into the crater from Stella where camp will be set up. The next morning you will climb from inside the Crater to Uhuru and from there go to Stella around the crater rim and descend from there all the way to the Mweka Gate.
