he most westerly of the routes on Kilimanjaro, this route allows you to see the whole of the Shira Plateau and before you get on to the plateau you walk around the Shira ridge. After the plateau you join the normal Machame route, making your final ascent from Barafu camp to Stella Point and on to Uhuru Peak.

Join a Machame Route 7 day Kilimanjaro climb. This route on the western side of Kilimanjaro takes you onto the Shira Plateau, then onto Lava Tower, over the Barranco wall, through Karanga valley and finally up from Barafu camp to Stella Point and onwards to Uhuru Peak. Superb views
